“After selling a large Town House we were looking to downsize.  We wanted a condominium and wanted a unit that lived like a house.   We were very happy to discover Whispering Pines in Deer Brook.

Upon looking at the model we were very impressed with fit and finish.  Features of the Woman Centric design made the unit even more appealing.  We also liked the quality of everything in the unit such as standard granite and crown molding.  In fact, items considered standard were greater than those offered elsewhere.  Two big pluses for us were the large two-car garage and the full basement.

Once we selected the version of the model we wanted, the rest was easy.  We worked with the Hugh Fisher to select initial options and upgrades.  We then worked with the Sarah Fisher to select other options, colors, tile, granite, kitchen and bath design, etc.  The choices offered were significant and made the task easy.  Sarah provided excellent design advice.

After a long delay due to snow, construction finally got underway.  I visited the property regularly and was always greeted warmly and was shown progress on the unit and was given completion date updates.  Although we were living in Florida, we always felt that we were “in the loop” as construction progressed.

Once we moved in, we found a very active and friendly community.  We have monthly men’s breakfasts, ladies dinners, group golf outings and group travel.

After moving in we experienced very few, very minor issues which needed attention.  Everything was handled quickly, professionally and to our satisfaction.

The location of Deer Brook couldn’t be better.  We enjoy quiet, rural living but remain a short drive to Newport, Providence and southeastern Massachusetts.  There are several fine golf courses close by.  If casinos are part of your enjoyment, the Connecticut casinos are a short drive away.

For us, life at Whispering Pines in Deer Brook is wonderful and we are so happy with our decision to move here.”
